Vulgar Errors / Feral Subjects

Poetry Workshops with Fran Lock
From Wednesday 2nd November 2-4pm
Judith E Wilson Drama Studio
Faculty of English, 9 West Road

Fran Lock, the Judith E. Wilson Poetry Fellow for 2022-2023, offers a series of informal workshops for anyone interested in reading, writing, and performing poetry. The workshops will explore the idea of the feral in its various guises, with a particular focus on writing and writing through the abject animal other. The sessions are intended to provoke strange and ambitious new writing. Readings will include both poetry and selected critical texts touching on feral feminism, queer failure, and low theory.
All are welcome!

The first workshop will take place on WEDNESDAY 2 NOVEMBER, 2-4 pm in the Judith E Wilson Drama Studio. If you are unable to attend this workshop but are interested in attending subsequent sessions, please write to Fran Lock at: <fl453@cam.ac.uk>.
Maximum 20 places – please use the above email to register your interest and book your place.

Fran will also be holding office hours for one to one conversations about writing.
If you would like to meet with her, please arrange to do so by writing to her at: <fl453@cam.ac.uk>.
