Judith E Wilson Centre for Poetics Pop-up Poetry reading and Film event.

Come to meet the current Judith E Wilson Visiting Poetry Fellow, Dr Kirsten Norrie (MacGillivray), who will present her work, Ravage: An Astonishment of Fire (including a short film), in conjunction with Prof Drew Milne, who will be reading from recent and new work.

MacGillivray (Dr Kirsten Norrie) is a poet, musician and filmmaker published by Bloodaxe Books in the UK. Her work has appeared on BBC R3 Late Junction and the Verb, for film soundtracks by British director, Andrew Kötting and reviewed in the Guardian, the TLS, the Scotsman, Magma, etc. Winner of a Paul Hamlyn Composer Award, she has written in Norn, Shetlandic, Scots and Gaelic.
Drew Milne‘s collected poems, In Darkest Capital, was published by Carcanet in 2017. Subsequent work includes Earthworks (Equipage), Cutting Carbons (Electric Crinolines), Lichens in Antarctica (Electric Crinolines) and Saturation Net Zero (Face Press).
