2019-2020 Judith E Wilson Visiting Poetry Fellow
Bhanu Kapil is a British poet who has lived, for the last twenty-one years, in the U.S., where she taught poetry, fiction, performance and hybrid writing seminars at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. She has also taught part-time for Goddard College in Vermont and Washington. More recently, her creative practice has expanded to include performance, improvised works, installation and ritual. During her year at the University of Cambridge, she hopes to complete a succession of experimental works derived from poetry and mud experiments articulated in the Judith E. Wilson drama studio (and, weather permitting, on local riverbanks.)
