Multilingual Translation Workshop with Dr Enora Lessinger

Literary translation workshop
In this multilingual literary translation workshop (prose and poetry), participants will practice “bridge translation“, a highly creative form of translation in which participants produce a literary translation in two stages.
The only requirement to take part in this workshop is to have an A2/B1 level in at least one of the foreign languages offered.

Information about the workshop leader: Currently a Senior Lecturer in Modern Languages and Translation at Oxford Brookes University, Dr Enora Lessinger is an Ecole Normale Supérieure alumna. She holds a Ph.D. in literary translation from the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, on the translation of narrative silence in Kazuo Ishiguro’s fiction. Her research focuses on literary and audiovisual translation, and involves seven different languages.
